Maths

Malo e lelei Today my class had to record a video saying what they learnt from prime maths. I learnt how to add 3 diget numbers and i showed a example on pen and paper.

Year 8 camp.

 

For Year 8 Camp we stayed out West at One time Adventure. At firstI was nervous because I didn’t know what we were going to do at camp. I shared a dorm with Akira-lee, Sa, Memory, Taina,Ociania , Paege and Motu.

One of the activities that stood out to me was the flying fox because I was really excited to go on it. But when I got there I was nervous but Nunu’s brother was pushing me to go, and I ended up really enjoying it. Another activity that stood out to me was crate stacking, even though all groups didn’t get to do it.

A challenge I faced was my fear of heights. I overcame this challenge by pushing myself.A funny and memorable moment I’ll never forget was when Anne-Marie told Sulio to go get her a pizza.

Camp gave me more confidence to do more stuff. My group called West Side A worked together by communicating and by sharing ideas. I saw Sulio show courage when he had to speak on the microphone.

I gained Confidence. The advice I would give to a Year 7 going to this camp is to listen to the Instruction that the teachers give you at camp. I will miss the Gym the most because I always went and played there in my free time.

My experience of camp was very enjoyable.Of course I will do camp again if I could because I really enjoyed year 8 camp.
